  • This is a high level and easy to understand view of all the financial concepts and pitfalls that we should all be aware of as physicians.
• Crucial Conversations
  • In relationships that matter, shying away from conflict is never the right answer, especially in the long run (including with your colleagues and your patients). This book doesn’t make the anxiety of tough talks go away, but it shows you how to conduct them successfully every time, which will make everyone happier.
• Getting Things Done
  • This book is about developing personal systems to handle the overwhelm of exploding to-do lists. Read this book as early in med school as possible.
• Better
  • This book is about the future directions of medicine as a whole and where it needs to get Better. Wonderful context for the newbie health professional.
