Dr. Padrino is an Associate Professor of both Internal Medicine & Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
Dr. Padrino completed her undergraduate degree at Amherst College in 1994; completed her medical degree at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1999; and then completed a Combined Internal Medicine and Psychiatry residency at Duke University Medical Center in 2004.
In being dual boarded certified, Dr. Padrino has operated in both medical and psychiatric clinical settings throughout her career. She has also spoken about the combined training on several occasions at the annual meetings of the American Psychiatric Association, as well as on the intersection of the two specialties in a talk titled “Is it Medical, Psychiatric, or Both?”
Heavily involved in medical education, Dr. Padrino is also currently the Assistant Dean of Clinical Education at the School of Medicine.
